during the ECM27 in Bergen we held a SIG-meeting. You will find the report on it attached to this e-mail. During the meeting we elected a new steering committee. It is now:<br>

We would like to thank our former co-chair Alfonso San Miguel for the great work he did for the SIG.<br>

Further topics discussed during the meeting were related to the ECM28 in Warwick.<br>
Leonid Dubrovinsky was assigned the representative of SIG11 for the programm committee of ECM28.<br>

A series of microsymposia was suggested for this conference (please see the attached file). However, we will be very happy to receive additional ideas for further topics from you.

Also, we would like to ask you to suggest possible candidates for keynote speakers.
